The first Native American man in space, John Herrington, began a trek across the country on Wednesday to encourage kids to get into math, science, technology and engineering. He began his journey with a blessing from the Makah Nation, and is visiting many reservations along the way.
What an inspiration! It ALMOST makes me wish I'd applied myself in math...
